The high performance plastic pipe production technology by Krah Made in Germany

The KR Series is the single screw high performance helical extrusion line of Krah, which is a complete plastic pipe production plant, to produce structures wall (acc. DIN16961, etc.) or solid wall pipes (acc. ISO 4427 etc.) on internal diameters from DN 300 mm up to DN 5000 mm made out high density polyethylene or polypropylene. Even fittings, manholes and tanks can be produced with only one single KR Line, to cover more market segments.

Pipes can be produced in lengths from 1m up to 6m and on special request even longer, on any required wall design according the international standards. The main applications for the structured wall pipe products are low, non -pressure applications like for sewer, drainage, storm water, sea outfall/intake, irrigation systems and or even storage tanks. The possibility to determine the most efficient pipe wall design with Krah Software Mickey, assures the customer to produce pipes, fittings and manholes according the standards and as an add value according the project requirements.

The newest Krah Line is KR800-max with approximately 1.500 kg/hr output for a pipe DN/ID1000, PE100, with SN8 (according to ISO9969). The great advantage of the development is that a profiled pipe has lower weight in comparison with solid wall pipes and at the same time can be used very cost efficient for environments with high loads. Significant cost saving and continuous production assures the customer, excellent production and sales result. Furthermore, every pipe can be produced with an integrated socket and spigot for the most cost efficient and sustainable jointing solution electro fusion.
