Bauer Kompressoren UK Ltd. - the British daughter company of the Bauer Group - does not specialize in the provision of Standard Industrial Compressors, sited in the warmth and security of a Factory. Our forte is the design and construction of "Specials", often made "Special" because of the environment in which they must operate or in the way that they must be transported. In terms of climatic considerations this may be exposure to highly saline laden offshore conditions and/or very low ambient temperatures in winter or at the other extreme we may encounter driven sands and temperatures up to 50 degrees in the Desert regions of the world.We some time specialise in the Containerisation of both diesel and electrically driven packages for air and gas compression, gas pressure boosting, drying and filtration and Nitrogen Generation, limited only by the physical size and weight of the equipment itself.
Diesel Driven High Pressure Compressor Packages for Seismic Applications

Portable Diesel Drive High Pressure Compressors
Combining the expertise derived from production of Diesel driven packages and the relative compact nature and light weight of the Bauer Kompressoren Compressor block, Bauer Kompressoren UK Ltd. have over the years, refined a series of Portable High Pressure Diesel driven machines providing the level of flexibility and independence that only an air-cooled machine with diesel drive can offer.
Designed to the same high standard as the larger static and containerised packages, these machines ranging in capacity from 320l/min to 930l/min and with working pressures up to 420 Barg perfectly compliment the Bauer Kompressoren range of electrically driven units in this capacity range.

H2S Protection Systems
 Hydrogen Sulphide gas or H2S is renowned as one of the most serious hazards in the exploration and production of oil and gas and its Toxicity, Corrosive and potentially explosive properties are worthy of its bad reputation. However it is widely accepted that in certain geographical locations contact with this hazardous compound is unavoidable and therefore provision for human survival in the event of a H2S release must be made.
For some years Bauer Kompressoren UK Ltd. has applied the expansive knowledge gained in the field of Breathing Air to the design and construction of Breathing Air Compressors and Distribution Systems specifically orientated to human survival in H2S Emergency situations.
These systems, predominantly associated with Offshore Platforms and Man-made drilling islands comprise of multiple purpose built compressors with filtration systems suitable for the generation of Breathing Quality air, which is stored in a High Pressure Storage facility of adequate volume to sustain the advised numbers of human personnel at a given consumption rate for sufficient time to provide either an emergency solution or for evacuation.
These packages are a complete solution and are engineered to incorporate compression, storage, pressure regulation and reduction, plus all aspects of air distribution and personnel take-off at point of use.

Instrument Air and Nitrogen Generation
Bauer Kompressoren UK Ltd. has extensive experience in the design and construction of Instrument Air Packages and Nitrogen Generators for the Oil and Gas Industry. Specially designed to suit client specifications these turn-key packages are suitable for either Onshore or Offshore conditions including extreme ambient temperatures and hazardous (explosion-proof) area classifications.
Comprising electrically driven Oil lubricated Screw Compressors employing air-ends from the Bauer Group Sister Company ROTORCOMP VERDICHTER and Heatless Desiccant Dryers with ultra-high efficiency, fluid separation, particle and hydro-carbon removal filtration plus all pressure, temperature and process controls, these complete packages with volumetric capacities from 1400l/min to 14000l/min and working pressures up to 13 Barg deliver clean, dry air to Oilfield, wellhead and platform instrumentation and control gear.

This is far more than procurement of a standard shipping container and sitting a piece of proprietary equipment inside. There is an art to complete enclosure of this equipment and serious consideration must be given to insulation, ventilation, cooling and heating requirements plus overcoming the restrictions of limited space to provide maximum efficiency and serviceability in use.
Mobile Compressor Systems
In realisation that mobility is important to certain customers in performance of their business, Bauer Kompressoren UK Ltd. provides the option of Trailer mounted compressor packages which provide all of the features of our Containerised, Stationary and Portable units but have the added advantage of being mobile.
Each package is designed in consideration of resilience to road surface conditions and each trailer is rated for speed and payload suitable for the static and dynamic loading to which it is exposed.
In-vehicle Compressor Systems
As with trailer mounted packages, mobility and flexibility of asset use is becoming more and more prevalent with some customers requiring incorporation of a compressor system into a motor vehicle.
